WRITING A WILL
WITH DEMENTIA
Having a diagnosis of dementia doesn’t
necessarily mean you are unable to write or
update your Will. It may still be possible as
long as you are capable of making decisions
about your wishes. We would always suggest
you work with a solicitor in this situation.
Olive was diagnosed with vascular dementia in
2017. Despite her diagnosis she is determined to
do what she can to support dementia research.
Olive and her husband Ronnie have rewritten
their Wills to leave a share of their estate to
Alzheimer’s Research UK.
